LAHORE: On Thursday, golden jubilee celebrations were celebrated by the Urdu Science Board (USB). On this occasion cake cutting ceremony was managed to celebrate golden jubilee of USB.

Chief Guest was our famous poet and Amjad Islam Amjad. USB retired staff and different people were invited on that occasion.

While addressing the ceremony Amjad Islam Amjad appreciated the efforts of USB in promoting the knowledge and literature in Urdu. He also told that Urdu is the only language which can easily absorb the words of other languages.

Iqbal Nadi Nadeem, the Director General of Urdu Science Board was addressing to the ceremony, he assured that USB will continue its efforts for promoting scientific knowledge in the country.

At the end of the ceremony USB employees were also awarded shields for their hard work and efforts.
