Karachi, The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi on Tuesday declared the result of Higher Secondary School Certificate Part-II Annual Examinations 2012 (Home Economics Group).

Amna Athar Jafree d/o Athar Jali Jafree, roll 101037 from Rana Liaquat Ali Khan Govt. College of Home Economics grabbed first position by securing 1001 marks out of 1200, Yousra Afzal d/o Afzal Hussain, roll 101206 and Nida Azhar d/o Syed Muhammad Azhar, roll 101117, of same college, got second and third position with 989 and 961 marks respectively.

According to declared result, in all 271 students were registered, 269 appeared and only 159 passed the examination. The pass percentage remained 59.11.

This was announced at a ceremony hosted to congratulate position holders of the exam at the Board of Intermediate Office, Karachi, on Tuesday.

Only four students got A one grades while 24 received A grades. Most of the result founded of C grades and below. The form of performance remained same compared to last year, with a high attentiveness of C grades and very few A one and A grades.
